Stop this Life...It is going by too fast!

Alan on a mission still in Argentina but....comes home in December!
He is so cute with those fingers!

Proud Grandma

My wonderful children...some are a little stiff but still love them!

Ok, so I haven't written since August...we had a GREAT time in Cooke City...LIKE ALWAYS!

Well, school started when I got back and it was crazy busy. They are changing things in my dept and I am the one to write the proposal, abstract, documentation....pages long for the future of my class. What? I am the peon of the whole group and I had just a few days to complete that.

Now we move on to Cindy's baby and Amy's wedding. Those two are close but really...haha

Cindy had her baby on Sept 23 and Amy had her wedding on Sept 24.

I have sure been a busy bee but sooooo happy for my two daughters!!!

For the next two weeks, I take students to St George for the World Senior games. We provide health screenings for the seniors at the games. It is fun to stay at my house and the kids have a great time learning also.

I am very tired but so happy and enjoy all the busy times in my 50's.

Cooke City 2010

Cooke city is always so beautiful! We loved the 4-wheeling to see all the flowers and mountains.
The wildlife is always a Plus with the moose and baby, dear, fox, and the rascal yellowbellied hairy marmot, but not the Bear. We were saddened with the loss of life by a bear this year at a camp a mile away. I am NOT a gun person but This is one place where we do need a gun.

Happy Birthday to you!!! Happy Birthday to you!!! John celebrated his 61st birthday with lots of Huckleberry syrup, candy, and jam. Love you honey and hope to have MANY more years to come.

Are these just the cutest brothers EVER!!! They are so fun to have around and love them so much. This is on our hike to Leckie Falls...we named it of course!

New Grandbaby

New grand baby girl.
Proud Papa and older brother. The other older brother (age 2) was probably pushing buttons or pushing something around. They are going to be the best big brothers to new baby sister.

Japan

Eating food with Octopus and squid...Yum!!!
John getting used to sitting (and sleeping) on the floor.

Rainy day walking to church after a train ride and bus ride.

Rilla feeding the deer.

Previous missionary companions that Eric loved!!! We took them to lunch.

Japan

We also went for 10 days to Japan to visit Eric's mission and some sites in other areas. We had a wonderful time visiting with families he loves so much. We are so thankful for their kindness.

China

We enjoyed our trip to China. We found the country to be happy, lots of new building going on, people seem to have more money, and it was great. The food was good most of the time. We stayed in very nice hotels with nice beds and GREAT locations so we could walk the streets and watch them ALL exercise each morning. The people were very nice and a great trip with LOTS of walking. John lost weight / me NONE!

Trip to China May 2010
