Christmas 2011

We had such a wonderful day and night and next day together...well, that's me speaking as the grandma...those with kids didn't sleep as well. It was a fun birthday too.

Lots of presents and food and laughing and love all around! We truly love our Savior and thankful for the option to have families forever.

Love the new jamas???

October 2011

I Love You, Sis!

I Love you, Bro!

Grandma love you sweetie E!

Grandma Loves You...my 1st Grandchild!

I love you Amy Doll... where I learned what love really feels like...my 1st baby

My sweetie Al...I KNEW you were part of our family and I love you so much!

October is a month full of the Senior games and birthdays.

You're shocked that I didn't win a gold medal??? I do the health screenings for the participants with my students. I am gone the first 2 weeks of this month and I have been doing this each year for 10 years. It is way fun and I enjoy it...but get so tired with younguns who want to stay up late and me driving back and forth to St George in big blue vans. It is a great experience for the students and they do learn a bunch...so I do it again next year! You can see those pictures on the Health466 blog.

Birthdays...WOW January/Feb was a busy time for lots of people (know what I mean???) We have so much fun with 2 kids born then, 2 grandchildren and a brother and sis.

And Halloween and Fall and the leaves turning colors makes for a WONDERFUL month.

I LOVE it ALL!!!

Mom's birthday Party

They all got the memo to wear blue and red to grandmas party!!! Fun!

The three look so cute!! Robert Leckie (Scott's son), John Hawkins (my husband and shaven face after 23 years of having a beard), Ian McCollum (Amy's Husband). They aren't blood related but they sure look like it. I love redheads!

Some of My cutie brothers! I think my mom has shrunk. She wasn't tall to begin with.

We had mom's famous BBQ pork ribs, baked potatoes, salads and fruit, and cake and ice cream for dessert. We decorated with balloons and fun things all around the house. Feeding 78 people at my house is not a small feat. Thanks to everyone that helped me!!!

The 4 brothers, we miss Richard on his mission in Columbia, and Rita and I. I sure love my family and so thankful for my MOM and DAD and the wonderful parents they were to us. You better believe that my DAD WAS THERE...he wouldn't of missed his sweethearts 95th birthday party. We all felt him.

Cutie John without his beard!

Happy Mother's day

We had the best time at Thanksgiving Point with my Mom, my ex mother-in-law, Cindy and cutie Hendrix, Rachel and Eric. We had 2 wheelchairs and a stroller. the paths are perfect for this kind of tour.

It was a little too cold but still fun. About 1/2 of the flowers were not open...long hard winter with lots of snow and rain...yes, snow in May!

Mom's birthday is coming up in a few weeks...she turns 95. She can't hear, see, eat much or sometimes can't remember who I am.... but we try to make life as fun as possible.

John has lost something!

So, we have been called to serve in the Temple...what you say??? you are NOT that old!
Yes, John works 2 shifts and I work one (I am still working part-time and he has more time than me)
Off came the beard...after 30 years of having a beard (he shaved it a few times) for this new calling. He says it is ABSOLUTELY worth it and LOVES serving in the Temple.
Pictures are coming of his cute face...patience!
