Happy Mother's day

We had the best time at Thanksgiving Point with my Mom, my ex mother-in-law, Cindy and cutie Hendrix, Rachel and Eric. We had 2 wheelchairs and a stroller. the paths are perfect for this kind of tour.

It was a little too cold but still fun. About 1/2 of the flowers were not open...long hard winter with lots of snow and rain...yes, snow in May!

Mom's birthday is coming up in a few weeks...she turns 95. She can't hear, see, eat much or sometimes can't remember who I am.... but we try to make life as fun as possible.

John has lost something!

So, we have been called to serve in the Temple...what you say??? you are NOT that old!
Yes, John works 2 shifts and I work one (I am still working part-time and he has more time than me)
Off came the beard...after 30 years of having a beard (he shaved it a few times) for this new calling. He says it is ABSOLUTELY worth it and LOVES serving in the Temple.
Pictures are coming of his cute face...patience!

Me and My Kids

I know we are in PJ's and this is what Christmas morning looks like but I am so happy!!! I love my kids and so proud of them growing up and finishing school and being great citizens. It is all worth it....moring sickness, early births, complication after complication, 24 days in the hospital, surgeries and C-section, cub scout leader, soccer coach 6 times, mother helper 6 times, fat stomach, being tired and peeing my pants on the third sneeze.
Yes, being a mother is ALL worth it. And I love the Grandkids!!!
